Los Angeles Highlights
Los Angeles is a very fascinating place for vacation and visiting this city could be one of the best memorable holiday trips you will ever have. There are many interesting places in Los Angeles that are able to keep tourists excited, most famous of all, the Hollywood.
If you are interested in celebrities and entertainment industry, this is the place where you may get a chance to catch a glimpse of the actors or actress you see on movies screen. If you happen to be here during the Annual Academy Awards, then, the likelihood of you meeting your favorite stars will be very high as most of them are expected to turn up for this event.
Don’t forget the famous Walk of Fame where stars of the past and present have their hand prints embedded in the ground along Hollywood Boulevard and if you are like breathtaking scenery, take a trip into the Hollywood Hills and check out the famous Hollywood sign that stands on the highest peak.
If you prefer to have fun with your family, then you should take a ride to the various amusement and water parks in Los Angeles which include the Six Flags Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Raging Waters and other places like the Los Angeles Zoo and Griffith Park. It should be pretty much fun and play in these places.
Besides these, drop by Staples Center if you are a basketball fan. It is the home of the famous NBA team, Los Angeles Lakers and you can see the influence of Magic Johnson (if you don’t know, he used to play for LA Lakers) all over the places. He has a few businesses likes 24 Hour Fitness locations, the Magic Johnson Theatres and Magic Johnson’s TGI Friday’s Restaurant.
For Baseball fans, you might want to pay a visit to Dodger Stadium, home of the former World Series Champions Los Angeles Dodgers.
There are some many places to go in Los Angles and if you are not visiting someone here who has a car that you can use, then you should probably rent a car because waiting around for public transportation in Los Angeles will use up most of your vacation time.
